A thick polar fleece with a short zip at the throat and nothing else on it. No hood, no pockets, nothing to catch under a shell or a pack strap.

Thick polar fleece with a quarter zip at the neck, so you can dump heat on a climb without stopping to take a layer off. 100% polyester. Size: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL.

Machine wash cool and inside out, and skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibre and is the most common way people ruin the wicking on a base layer. Do not tumble dry fleece or anything waterproof. Heated pieces are washed only with the power cell removed.
